A recent study has found that strawberries may reduce the risk of developing breast cancer. The European study used mouse models and laboratory-grown cells and found that strawberry extract helped fight breast cancer cells. The mice that were fed the strawberry extract diet had smaller tumors compared to the mice that were fed a standard diet. In addition, the cancer cells had not spread to any nearby tissue.
