QVC and Zendaya Step into Shoes to Fight Breast Cancer

The shopping channel QVC and actress Zendaya have locked forces to help raise awareness and money for breast cancer via a humongous charity inspired shoe sale.

“Like most women, I love a great pair of shoes, and I especially love scoring a great deal,” Zendaya said in a news release

There are many misconceptions about breast cancer. Here are 13 myths debunked.

The actress, singer and dancer is lending her face to the three-hour spectacular set to air 6 – 9 p.m. ET, October 20. The 23rd annual “FFANY Shoes on Sale” will feature 170 different shoe styles donated by 80 brands, which will be offered at half price. Here’s an added bonus —  at east 80% of the price of the shoes will be donated to breast cancer charities and educational organizations.

Since its inception, the shoe sale collaboration has raised more than $50 million for breast cancer awareness efforts.

“It is an honor to have Zendaya’s support this year and we have no doubt that her captivating spirit will endear her to viewers across the country,” said QVC’s CEO Mike George.  Read more about the event here.
