Meet Laura Murton. In this video from 2014, shared by Rethink Breast Cancer, Laura shares her story: she carried a BRCA2 mutation gene but while she was breast feeding she couldn’t have an MRI scan to see if there were any problems. Once she had finished breast feeding, she had the MRI scan and discovered she had cancer. She had a bilateral mastectomy because she was a carrier of the gene. Watch the video and learn more about her story and how physiotherapy helped while she was recovering from breast cancer.
