According to hellogiggles.com, Hollywood actress Shannen Doherty has made her first red carpet appearance following her recent chemotherapy and radiation treatment for breast cancer.

The Beverly Hills 90210 star looked fabulous as she posed with her husband, Kurtis Warienko, at the Animal Hope and Wellness Event which she hosted last week.

Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and finished her last round of chemotherapy in October 2016 according to simplemost.com. She explained that she was feeling great and positive about the future, but had to wait until April for more tests to see if she is cancer-free.

The actress chose to make her battle with breast cancer public from the start, regularly posting pictures of herself on Instagram following chemo sessions or after shaving her head on social media. Doherty has been an inspiration to thousands of women around the world. Her strength and determination have shone through and she’s become a beacon of hope to others in the same situation.
