There are several treatments that can be used to address your breast cancer. In this video, shared by Dr. Darrin Hansen in 2013, you can watch how a lumpectomy is carried out with a biopsy of a sentinel lymph node. A lumpectomy (one form of which is known as a partial mastectomy) is a very common procedure for ductal carcinoma in situ or non-invasive breast cancer, and also for some stage I and stage II (early stage) breast cancers.
