There are several things we need to pay attention to when we search for breast cancer symptoms. When spreading the word about this cancer, self-examination is one of the most common things we hear about and we’re told to focus on noticing if we feel any breast lumps that may be concerning.

There are a lot of questions to ask about lumps. How do they develop? Do they mean cancer every time? Do all lumps cause pain? In this video, shared by Breast Cancer Answers® in 2012, you can find some of those questions answered as Dr. Harness explains that a painful lump in the breast does not always indicate cancer. Actually, many times, breast cysts are responsible for pain in the breasts and not cancer.
